Limpopo-Lipadi Game and Wilderness Reserve offers anyone who is passionate about African wildlife and conservation an opportunity to become directly involved as a shareholder/co-owner in supporting the survival of endangered species such as rhino, wild dog, cheetah and others.

As Limpopo-Lipadi shareholders, we have taken ownership of the responsibility to preserve this pristine wildlife and nature reserve, on the banks of the Limpopo River, in the Tuli Block in South-East Botswana.

Our vision is to work towards sustainable stewardship of the area and become a breeding basket for endangered species in the Tuli block and beyond. The reserve is about 450km from Johannesburg, just over the border from South Africa.

We are inviting like-minded investors to join us in this quest to ensure that our children and their children will still be able to enjoy the huge variety of African wildlife in their natural habitat, as we do today.

As a partner in Limpopo-Lipadi you are the part-owner of your own game reserve and you can enjoy the fantastic pioneering adventure of visiting this remote part of the world as often as your time allows. Once the Limpopo-Lipadi rangers have trained you in 4x4 driving and basic bush safety courses you can drive the game viewing land cruisers yourself and follow in the tracks of a leopard or in search for the wild dog pack. You have the privilege and freedom of a Game Reserve owner while at the same time enjoying the responsibility for preserving this wilderness.

LIMPOPO-LIPADI ACTIVITIES

Limpopo-Lipadi shareholders and their friends create and enjoy their own wildlife adventures - an experience which goes so much further than the usual tourist safari allowing you to enjoy your passion for nature the way you like it.

It is your game reserve and therefore there are no inflexible game drive schedules or programs that you have to stick to. You decide when and where you want to go. This freedom creates an unrivalled sense of adventure and exploration that the great African pioneers must have experienced in the hey day of “Darkest Africa”.

Shareholders are encouraged to become a knowledgeable field guide in their own game reserve. Upon completion of a reserve orientation, first aid and 4x4 driving course, you qualify as a guide to your friends. This entitles you to self-drive a land cruiser without a ranger if you wish, whilst exploring the many facets of the reserve on your own.

The extent of your involvement in the conservation projects at Limpopo-Lipadi is your choice. During any visit you can check with the Reserve Manager to see what activities you could participate in.

It might be game counting at water holes, game capturing when game are moved or sold, new game introduction, elephant collaring, wild dog inoculations, plains clearing, infrastructure development activities or social responsibility programs with the local villages through Motse - the choice is yours, whether you participate for 2 days, 2 weeks or 2 months.

When you do come out for a visit you will stay in River Camp, one of your luxury private 2 or 3 bedroom safari lodges on the banks of the Limpopo River from where you will explore the secrets of the bush like never before.
