Your first realisation is the absence of smog caused by traffic and other city life hazards; only clean, fresh air as your eyes feast on the colours of an African sunset dancing on the water.
For the first time in months you take a deep breath, exhale slowly, and feel the tranquillity of your surroundings penetrate your very being. As your gaze sweeps the landscape, your senses awaken to the promise of the rich diversity of fauna and flora just waiting to be discovered.
Savuti - It’s not about being different. It’s about being unique!
By combining a unique wildlife estate with Jeffreys Bay’s world famous beaches, Savuti Estate has brought together the best of both worlds. This exclusive residential estate sets the benchmark of a truly utopian wildlife living experience.
Savuti is situated on the magnificent Garden Route, a popular and scenic stretch of the south-eastern coast of South Africa. Savuti is located in the picturesque town of Jeffreys Bay which is rated among the ten best surfing spots in the world. The town is bracketed by an amphitheatre of towering mountains and its world renowned beaches.
The idea behind Savuti was to create something truly unique by placing emphasis on creating a feeling of freedom. This was achieved by the large open spaces and several impressive lakes creating a unique water edge living experience. With average stand sizes of 2,300m2 each home owner is assured of a feeling of openness and enjoying living right on the water’s edge or enjoying vast open spaces. Stands are positioned in such a way to make it easy for the wildlife to meander in between the houses to the water bodies.
What makes Savuti unique is that while at home you will experience all the tranquillity that this wildlife estate has to offer while you have the convenience of all of the key amenities right on your doorstep. A regional shopping centre and medical facilities are located within a radius of one kilometer from the estate.
And of course Jeffreys Bay’s legendary beaches are just a stone’s throw away.
Open Spaces
Only 515 single residential stands will be available in the 270 hectare Savuti Estate, which means that more than 80% of the total area will form part of the private open system. Phase I of Savuti will consist of only 118 stands.

Waterside Living
Savuti will feature twenty four dams and waterholes to ensure an unforgettable “waterside living” experience. Ten of these dams are already constructed and most of them will feature bird islands providing safe nesting grounds for several water fowl species, making this a birdwatcher’sparadise.
Dams will be to kept full by recirculating the water and by topping them up from boreholes which deliver about 60 000 litres per hour. We have done a lot of investigation to introduce fish to these dams. The dams will be stocked with Kurpers soon, more or less 12 months later Bass will follow and then the food chain will be complete and birds like fish eagles will definitely visit the dams. Bird hides will be placed and catching of fish allowed in certain dams where the privacy of other owners will not be disturbed.
Wildlife
Savuti features Zebra, Giraffe, Greater Kudu, Springbuck, Bushbuck, Red Hartebeest, Blesbuck, Waterbuck and duiker along with several other smaller species.

The Savuti lifestyle is all about freedom and as such the estate features state of the art estate security including biometric access control, CCTV perimeter monitoring and 24 hour foot patrols. All of this will give you peace of mind while you enjoy everything this wildlife estate has to offer.
The high standard of Security and visible patrols can fulfil that lifelong dream of a secure lifestyle with freedom and openness where you and your family can enjoy nature, the game, all the facilities etc, without looking over your shoulder all the time. To take the Savuti lifestyle to perfection, a private school, the Savuti Global Leadership Academy with boarding facilities for grades 8 – 12, will be erected adjoining Savuti.
School
The Savuti Global Leadership Academy for Grades 8-12 with boarding facilities, will add another dimension and bring quality schooling to the doorsteps of Savuti residents. What an absolute privilege for the residents of Savuti, but also for the Kouga as a whole.
Green/Eco
Savuti will be a green eco development where residents will be encouraged to embrace the use of solar and gas power to reduce the reliance on external power supply. Rainwater will also be harvested to at least be sufficient for gardening purposes.
Maintenance costs and levies
We have nothing against Golf Estates, but it is a fact that many people who invested in these estates were highly disappointed with the privacy and space they experienced, not to talk about the monthly levies which varies from R2,000 – R3,000/month.
The estimated levy for Phase 1 of Savuti, will be just under R700/month and you can check this budget on our website. You will understand that a lot of costs will be loaded onto Phase I and we foresee that as more phases are added, this figure will stay unchanged for quite some time or even decline.
Taking into account what Savuti is offering , this is unbelievable value for money.
